Pre Tribulation Rapture

17 PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE VERSES. That there is a Rapture - have no doubt! "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1Thes 4:15-18). Would you be "comforted" knowing that Jesus would want his 'pure and spotless bride' to go through the horrific 7 year Tribulation, to face the judgments of God? The analogy would be the bridegroom beating up the bride before the marriage ceremony just to make sure she is worthy. Absurd isn't it! Check out these verses declaring that Christ will come for his bride near (before/after) the start of the Tribulation September 23, 2015 (2014-2016 Shmita/Jubilee):

1) Psalm 58:9. Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

2) Isaiah 26:20. Come my people enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: Hide thyself as it were a little moment, until the indignation is overpast.

3) Zephaniah 2:3. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.

4) Matt 24:36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

5) Matt 24:42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

6) Matt 24:44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh.

7). Luke 17:26-30. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed (note Jesus' comparisons: Noah/Lot "Raptured" before judgment - so shall it also be in the days of the Son of man/when the Son of man is revealed).

8) Luke 21:34-36. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

9) John 11:25,26. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

10) 1 Thessalonians 1:10. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

11) 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

12) 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4,9. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them; as travail cometh upon a woman with child and they shall not escape. But ye brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should not overtake you as a thief. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord, Jesus Christ.

13) 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he that now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that wicked be revealed. (The Antichrist is only revealed once the church is Raptured.)

14) Revelation 3:10. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

15) Revelation 4:1. After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven (See also this same door in Matt 25:10): and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit (Raptured).

16) Revelation 19:11,14. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. And the armies which were in heaven (Raptured saints - Rev 4:1) followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

17) Matthew 16:28. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom...17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him...5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. Through this literal event above Jesus is giving us a clear pattern for the future: Notice how the promise in Matthew 16:28 is immediately followed by "After six days," (Matt 17:1) meaning; after 6000 years in prophetic terms (see 2 Peter 3:8). This scene depicts Christ bringing us (believers) up apart, and Him coming in his glory in the clouds - typifying the Rapture. Moses and Elijah show up in verse 3 - after the Rapture. They are the two witnesses of the Tribulation - Rev 11.

NB. All the above points show the Rapture to be before or around the start the Tribulation thus upholding the element of surprise that Jesus warns us about in the above verses!
